Today, plastic
technology is growing at such an incredible rate that we can no longer
afford to use the conventional approach to handle the needs and demands. In
order to meet and exceed the industry's highest standards for product's
quality and reliability with consistency, Auxiliary Equipment suppliers
are constantly developing new and advance material handling solution for
the plastics processors.
One of the available technology is Centre
Conveying and Vacuum System.
What is the different between
conventional conveying and Centre system?
Basically, in Centre Conveying or Vacuum System, the
system used a centre pump *(or multiple pumps) to generate the vacuum
effect by drawing out the air from autoloader. Then, the material from
silo or tank will be convey to the autoloader. All the centre autoloaders
are without any pumps. The pumps are usually located out of the production
area. The system is controlled by a centre controller.
What is the benefit of Centre
system?
1) Low maintenance cost because of using only
one centre filter for many autoloaders or only few centre filters to multiple
autoloaders. In long term, save cost.
2) Best possible cleanliness or clean room application is possible.
3) No exhaust air of blowers/pumps in the production area since the pumps
are out of productions area.
4) Lowest requirement for floor space because material can place out of
production area.
5) Material handling outside production. Thus, better logistic.
6) No spliling of raw material in production area. Thus, better appearance.
7) Reducing manpower, electricity and maintenance cost.
When to adopt Centre system?
1) High amount of machineries like more than
10 units. Centre system can be implemented with at least 3-4 units of
machineries.
2) Clean room required to mold or extrude the products.
3) To reduce production cost like lowering electricity cost, maintenance
cost and manpower.
4 ) Facing difficulties to allocate more space for production area
5 ) Better apperance for corperate image
6) Better control of material consumption.
